Fan DriverFebruary 29, 2008

Kar-Tech Inc, responding to customer requests, recently released their newly designed fan driver. This is a low-cost, innovative, intelligent electronic module for controlling electric DC fans or oil coolers for use in mobile hydraulic applications. Built to withstand any of the issues common in a mobile operating environment, this small, encapsulated module is fully programmable using onboard jumpers and potentiometers or Kar-Tech's patented Palm Pilot interface.

We at Kar-Tech have decades of experience in mobile hyrdaulic control, and can easily help integrate the fan driver into your system. More information on the fan driver is available on the fan driver product page, or from our distributor network.

Kar-Tech Wins Lift & Access Safety Award

Mini AwardOctober 17, 2007

Kar-Tech Inc, was recently recognized for their MINI radio remote control's contributions to safety in the lift market when Lift & Access magazine awarded them a LLEAP award at the ICUEE show. Lift & Access editors, alongside an industry consortium, recognized that by adding a very small, very low cost wireless product to a lift platform, machine operators can be assured that they can operate even when hard-wired cables are damaged. The MINI has enough power, brains, and protection to completely replace machine controls in other cases.

Kar-Tech's engineers have decades of experience designing control systems for the lift market, and can easily integrate the MINI as an accessory into an existing application, or can help engineer or re-engineer an existing lift control system. More information on the MINI is available on the MINI series product page, or from our distributor network.

New Product: Micro Valve Driver

Micro Valve DriverAugust 22, 2007

Kar-Tech Inc, announces the release of it's Micro Valve Driver - an exceptionally low-cost solution for systems that require proportional control of one or two valves, using one or two inputs. Designed with reliability in mind, the Micro Valve Driver comes in a small form factor, fully encapsulated enclosure - effectively turning it into a "hockey puck", allowing it to withstand the most extreme environments. All programming can be done on-board with jumpers & potentiometers, or optionally with Kar-Tech's patented Palm Pilot interface.

More information is available on the Valve Driver product page, from the data sheet, or from our distributor network. Please contact Kar-Tech directly with further or more in-depth questions.

Kar-Tech's control helps win award for OEM customer

Wacker's Ride On TrowelMarch 31, 2004

Wacker's new ride-on trowel with electronic steering has been voted one of the industry's Most Innovative Products for 2004. Concrete Construction magazine editors have announced Wacker's CRT-ES (concrete ride-on trowel with electronic steering) as the winner of the 2004 Most Innovative Product contest in the Concrete Placing & Finishing equipment category. Wacker's trowel was selected by attendees at the World of Concrete Show, held February in Orlando, FL, who were able to cast their votes for the most innovative products in 13 categories.

Operators praise the precise control and responsiveness they experience when using the electronic joystick controls. The response is a product of Kar-Tech's electronic steering control balancing the demands of the operator with load-sensing actuators. The end result is a system that allows the operator to identify the changing conditions of the slab and work through them smoothly without physical fatigue.

Uptime and performance are the key to the CRT-ES. The reliable electronic steering system allows the finisher to focus on its superior production without worrying about potential hydraulic failures that could damage or destroy the concrete surface. Wacker's mechanical drive, and Kar-Tech's electronic steering provide for a low maintenance, easy to operate high performance trowel.

Contact Kar-Tech for additional information on steering controls, or on the wide range of products, systems, and services available for the mobile hydraulic market.
